Another one down

Another therapist has given up on me, thinks I'm untreatable. Thank you for once again confirming that I'm a defect beyond repair. I won't be searching out a replacement because apparently there is no one that can help me. I'm suppose to have all the answers and the tools to fix myself, which I don't. So I'm done. The journey ends here, with this post, the 700th one I've written since I started posting in July of 2004.

I'll continue through life as best I can until the demon within finally consumes me. Given my vulnerability and its voraciousness, I don't expect it will take long.

I'm so sorry about this. I think it really sucks that you don't have good mental health care over where you are.

Please hang in there. Blog about it, express it, just don't keep it all inside until it consumes you.

Hugs
Polar B.

If a therapist says you're not treatable, what it means is that THAT THERAPIST is incompetent and/or out of his or her league. I lean toward incompetent since they blame it on you. I think that should be grounds for malpractice. I attempted suicide a few times over similar situations: what is worse than being told, when you already feel desperately awful, that there is no hope? I beg of you not to listen to that bullshit. You can hold your head up and keep trudging until things get better (and they will).

I agree with Borderlinecrazy - its not you thats the problem, its the therapist! It's like a doctor telling an ill individual that they're being a hypochondriac! Hold on Sid, keep fighting!

What do you want or need a therapist for? I wrote this question on another blog(subject of therapists ) I can't find now, and they gave a detailed reasonable answer . It seemed too intelligent an answer from someone who was supposed to be mentally ill. It's all bullsh@t anyways.

Ah, {{{{{{Sid}}}}}}

I've got the therapy blues, myself. Half thinking that I'll go in tomorrow and get kicked out for "not growing up".
